She's one year older...

It seems like there is a big difference between 7 and 8 years. Sierra is really growing up! This is bragging but it's her birthday (well yesterday was) and she and Mason like to look at "the blog" now. So Happy Birthday to my reader, legging/boot wearer, adventurous spirit, helpful big sister, I wish I had a dog of my own, silly, "BANG" playing, pretty, smart and oldest daughter.

Love you.

Night rides with the big kids...

Can you see Sierra's little head poking out? She wanted to join the "big kids" for a night mountain bike ride. She took a seat behind Eric on the mountain tandem, got to have her own light this time and wanted to beat Krista and John up the hill. She can appear to be quiet and shy but is really pretty adventurous!

Krista and John...

Nope, not these two lovebirds who are getting married in April,

but our new pets. Yes we have two pets, swimming frogs to be exact, appropriately named after the gift givers Krista and John.

It's not so bad...

celebrating your birthday three days after Christmas when you are four. When you are older you may think differently.

Happy number 4 Allie, my cute, sassy, talkative and not so little girl.

Yes, her birthday is December 28th. I am just now posting this. I had to get it done before Sierra's birthday is here and gone too.

Mmmmmm...

Allie got a very special treat while the other kids were busy with the sled dogs.

We went up to the mountain...

And Eric, Sierra and Mason took a sled dog ride. Have you ever heard 60 sled dogs jumping and barking and ready to run? The sound was unlike anything I had ever heard. Next time Allie and I get to have a turn, it looked like a lot of fun.

We did something new this week and here is a hint as to what it was.
