Alta Girls

While at BYU I lived in Alta Apartments.  It was there I met all of these really amazing girls and my most amazing husband.  Alta holds a lot of very special memories for me.  Last month I met up with the Alta girls in Breckenridge Colorado for the weekend.  I had not seen some of these girls for 6 years!  The great thing is it felt like I had just seen them yesterday.

We did lots of catching up, eating, a little shopping, went to downtown Breckenridge (there were so many cute little houses to take pictures of) a little run (at a much higher elevation than my body is used to) and talked about life, the gospel and our kids.  We have 22 kids between the 6 of us!  (Or will once Jen and Julie have their babies).

It was a very relaxing weekend in a very beautiful setting.  I left feeling uplifted, inspired and more connected to my Alta Girls and to my own family who let me take a Mom break.  I can't wait to do it again!

Everyday

I don't think a day goes by at our house without someone making lego creations.

Miss Eyeliner

  Our newest additions, 4 chicks.

My knight

Four!

Garrett turned 4 in April!  He really wanted donuts for his birthday and has wanted them almost everyday since his big day.  He woke up to strawberries, bacon and donuts, a few lego guys and a scoot bike.  I took him to the fire station and Jamba Juice during the day, just the two of us.  He loves firetrucks!  He also got to go with Grandma and Grandpa to the toy store. We had a few people over for more donuts after dinner. Pretty nice day for a 4 year old.

What Garrett loves at four:
legos, bacon, donuts, eggs, waffles, Curious George, water guns, hide and go seek, wrestling, running, jumping on the trampoline, fire trucks, police cars, and playing with his older siblings
