Haircuts...

(The before and after pictures are reversed.)

Allie and Mason both got haircuts today. Allie finally got a big girl haircut. I hated to see her hair falling to the floor but amazingly she looks like she has more hair now than she did before the haircut. Mason told the woman cutting his hair he likes it "spiky."

Gophers...

I think we have gophers in our yard...big gophers.

The BIG Hamburger...

We see this almost daily while passing the high school. It has been there for about a year now and the kids always point it out and say, "There's the big hamburger!" Mason is trying to take a bite.

Ships A'hoy...

Mason started preschool last Friday. He went last year and cried everyday the first week. I thought we may have a repeat but luckily I was wrong. He got right into the action, it was like he had never left. What a great start! Allie and I are back to the trails exercising now that school is in full swing.

Sierra Kate

School Days...

Sierra made it through her first week of 1st grade (Wed-Fri). It was harder on me and Mason than it was on Sierra. I am glad she loves school but we missed her. Mason will be very happy to know that tomorrow is Saturday (me too.)

E...

Eric would hate me posting this but doesn't he look good...I mean hot? You don't have to answer but I think the beard suits him.

Jumpin' rock...

Eric saw the rock, climbed the rock and jumped the rock. If you can find the shadow you can find Eric.

Camping...

We had a great end of the summer camping trip. Sun, the river, rocks, dirt, smores, banana boats, hot dogs, sleeping bags, sticks...it was all there and the kids loved every minute.

Sunday

I think Allie was supposed to be practicing happy faces for nursery.
