One fish two fish red fish blue fish...

Eric thinks our kids are working on becoming
Dr. Seuss characters.

Thanks for the pictures Megan, now if I can just get some up on the blank wall my life would feel complete.

The best first dance you will ever see...

If you think your sister-in-law is cool forget it, mine is cooler. Imagine your typical first dance and throw it out the window. Seeing this in person was AWESOME! And such a surprise, I should have known better with Krista. And way to go Johnny Boy, it makes you cool too, but not quite as cool as Krista.

Why the plethora of posts?

Eric is out on a night ride, the kids are in bed and I can't think about doing anything productive because I am spent of energy. No, blogs are not too productive, not mine anyway.

And Garrett cannot turn off the computer mid-sentence which is nice.

So until Eric gets a picture of his ride this will be in its place.

The hot spot at our house...

This is how dinner gets on the table some nights...

Online shopping...

Ever buy something online and then realize it's way too big? I know big rings are "in" right now but maybe this is going a little too far. I could wear it running just in case I need it to knock out an animal or some other form of attacker. It was cheap and it can go in the dress-up box.

It appears I can and will do big earrings.

Did you feed the horses?

I usually don't "blog." I do pictures. Here is more of a blah, blah about the pictures.

As a mother there are a lot of things I have not figured out. Here is one of those things.

When do I start my kids in soccer, ballet, gymnastics, voice lessons, piano lessons, T-ball, horseback riding, fencing, French, etc., etc.

We meet Sierra at the bus stop at 3ish. We walk home, have a snack and then I let the kids be free. We try to do chores before dinner, it's hit and miss, dinner is at 6pm and bedtime 7:30-8ish. In my mind that leaves very little time for the "other" category. We have tried Girl Scouts and dance and other little "others" but then the kids don't have time to feed the horses. Feeding the horses is very important to me, my kids need it, I need it. Fresh air, worms, dirt, trees, rain and horses.

I do hope they will all play the piano someday and have various other talents and interests. But if they can't play Mary Had a Little Lamb on the piano or saxophone until they are 12 I am okay with that. They will know what dirt between their toes feels like (my carpet will too), a rope swing, free afternoons, houses in trees, running for fun, hikes in the forest and important things like watching Leave it to Beaver and the old Pink Panther cartoons.

I've blah, blogged enough for me.

So go feed your horses. (Don't forget the deer and buffalo too.)

PS Swim lessons are something I do know when to do, now. A child needs to know how to swim.

Things we moved with us...

Allie's tantrums, but we are working on that.

We've flown the coop...

And have officially moved!
