Krisha, Lauren and Lesley, if you do not remember this we must have come from different families. I loved those misfits.

Twisted Sister...
Eric and I had an adventure in the mountains and we took 8 teenage girls with us. Well, really we went with them. We helped out with a group of girls ages 12-15 on an overnight hiking trip along with another couple who happen to be good friends.
The original plan was to hike South Sister but due to the excess of snow this year it was not possible. So we headed to another place where we could see the Sisters. If you look closely they are in the background. The girls were amazing, 2 days, almost 19 miles of hiking and they still had energy to sing at the top of their lungs the 2 hour drive home. Eric learned more than he ever wanted to know about Justin Bieber too, such a bonus!
It was so much fun and I hope we get to do it again!

A few more memories...
I missed a few pictures from our trip, a few more things I want to remember. Slacklining in the yard, water time and popsicles, and good finds for the drive. Have you ever heard of Play Aways? I hadn't until this trip. They are individual books you can check out from the library. They are not CDs, just a little device like an Ipod so everyone can listen to their own book or story, pretty nice.

Beans...
I love having a garden, all of the kids will eat beans when they come from the garden. Now zucchini is another story.
Road Trip...
We took a trip down to Rough and Ready for a family reunion. On the way we stopped for a night in Ashland. We checked out Lithia park and tasted the famous Lithia Water. It didn't taste as wonderful as we imagined.
We had a lot of fun and can't wait until next year when we invite everyone to Oregon!
Stop 3
Lots of time in Grandma and Grandpa's yard. Eric gets a lot of Uncle points for pushing kids on the horse swing morning and night.
