"Tyler Waldron pitched eight shutout innings and Ryan Ortiz tied a season-high with three hits as the Oregon State baseball team won its 2009 home opener in convincing fashion with a 7-0 win over Utah Valley Thursday night at Goss Stadium."

The Martin family was in attendance, thanks to a generous co-worker of Dad's for the tickets. The weather was perfect with sun and warmth.

Sierra and Mason loved the corn dogs, soft pretzels and peanuts while Allie's favorite treat was "mosquitoes" (skittles). Benny the Beaver was very entertaining as well and the kids hit a home run with Mom and Dad because they wanted to stay the entire game!
