A Landslide

During the crazy rain there was a landslide up in the forest.  We took a Saturday morning, friends and a closed trail to see the damage.  It is hard to capture the landslide in a picture, it's much better in person. If you look closely you can see the road that winds into the trees and then just ends. And no, Eric is not wearing Speedos, he met us after a run and has his short shorts on.

My little nephew

 

My newest nephew Damion was born early and weighed 3lbs.  He was born a little more than a month ago and is now more than 5 lbs!  He is doing great and hopefully will get to go home soon.   He is my baby brothers first baby and I can't wait to meet him! 

Welcome to the world

We had a baby shower at my house for my most special friend Megan and her new little girl Malan.  I provided the house and the talented Lydia took over and decorated.  Welcome to the world Malan!

These straws seem to be all the rage.  They do look pretty but I do wish we had just a little more sun in the day to brighten up the pictures.

Ingrid in color

My friend Kara invited me to go to an Ingrid Michaelson concert with her.  I had heard her music before the concert and after going I am a big fan.  It was a great night out for two Moms who need a break every so often. (Two Moms who never have to show ID to get into a place.) It was also my first real concert, unless you count the Oakridge boys and other county fair types.  Seeing her in person made me really excited for my next concert.  Coldplay in April, with Eric. That is going to be amazing and I can't wait!

The Falls

 

Eric and I ran the Silver Falls trail half-marathon together, well not together, but we ran in the same race.  We went with our good friends and enjoyed the trails, spots of sun and some good November running.  It's a great race, one I will probably do again and again.
