Matt and Amber...
Eric and I were so happy to be at this wedding. Matt is an old friend and Amber is a new friend. Now they are married to each other and we are really, really happy for them. It was a beautiful, sunny, happy wedding day.
A blast from the past...
My siblings and I spent a lot of time going up and down the driveway on our hot wheels, wagons and other contraptions we made up. Some things kids do really don't change.

Bouquets...
I was at the Portland Temple Saturday for a wedding and took some pictures on the sly of a couple I don't even know. I wanted to remember this bouquet the bride was holding. It's made of vintage broaches, I think some buttons and brown lace. It was so unique and pretty and it will last forever. Can you imagine getting married and saying, "this is my great-great grandmother's bouquet." I think I will tuck this idea away for future weddings.

Let's call this 32 years..
I had a birthday and turned 32. Eric gave me a tripod, he also made me a "blog book." Now we have 3+ years of blogging in a book we can keep for years and years to come. I was so surprised and happy I cried when I opened it. I have had it on my to do list for a long time and I had no idea he was creating one for our family.
Next year when he makes me another one I will be able to be in the book thanks to the tripod. My kids will remember they had a mother, a mother that looked young once. Smart man.
I can't thank the tripod for this picture, it was Garrett (the older one) who took it.
Once there was a snowman...
The kids got to have a snow day last Thursday. They wanted to go sledding at 6:45am but being the mean Mom that I am I made them clean their rooms and bathroom first. They were out the door by 8am. Garrett and Allie didn't last too long but Sierra and Mason spent hours outside sledding and building a snowman.
A coloring artist and a playdough artist...
Today Allie sat at the table coloring and creating. She told me she is going to be a coloring artist when she grows up. "You know, I am going to be a coloring artist for a job."
Then she told me her friend Elliette is going to be a play dough artist. " She is really good at making things with play dough. She even made an 'O' out of play dough."
They just might do it too. Why not?
